The friendly staff at the station saw me collecting train numbers in my book and started talking to us. My mum told them we were travelling on a long way around route to Swindon because I wanted to go on a Class 800 as a treat for being in the \u2018Golden book\u2019 at school. They asked for our name and gave us a slip of paper which when I read it said we had a complimentary first-class ticket upgrade from Bristol Parkway to Swindon. It was the first time I had ever experienced first-class in my whole life \u2013 it was an amazing experience.
